I get that and don't like tariffs either. But, a rate cut will not have any influence on price bumps that are largely found within the next couple of months - or already in place, as cuts take at least a few months to work their way into the economy.
But it would help cut credit card interest rates. Everyone should not be paying credit card rates which are legal loan shark rates.
 
Keynesian seemed to kept us out of recession for past ten years. Must be doing something right.
Only if you consider increasing the debt by 25% is doing something right.

Are you suggesting that the Fed should cut rates? If so, we agree :-)
 
Deregulation of the banks and their ability to use short-term debt for lending will lower long-term rates and we should see the results by the end of year.

Powell can't cut rates because of Trump's policies.
Powell would love to lower rates which he had been doing like in Biden's last year but Trump made our economy worse.

Sounds like you have lot of bank stocks. Deregulation would certainly boast bank stock prices.

Nope, don't have bank stocks. I just pay attention to what's happening in financial markets.
