Don't over think it. LolI can't see how rail could ever eke enough passengers from the airlines along these routes to pay for its own maintenance and operations.
Well..... let's refer to your quote from another thread.Newsom is a criminal and his developer buddies stole the money. Geez anyone else would be in prison.
Your grumpy. It's not my fault you are stuck in a rut.Well..... let's refer to your quote from another thread.
"That's the beauty of real estate and finance there's so many different avenues one can take at almost any age."
You're doing it.... and apparently, so is Gavin..... you don't think he got some of that developer cash?
I suppose if you can live with yourself and sleep at night.... it's all good.
At present time, Japan has no operational commercial Maglev lines although they are attempting to build one, however, the first one that they have been building since 2014 and which was scheduled to open in 2027 is beset by huge cost overruns and delays and will not open until at least 2034 per the latest reports. High speed rail works well in Japan because it is a very densely developed country with most of the population living in a relatively small area., but even there it is doubtful that Maglev will be an economic success. Building Maglev in the US just is not feasible due to the greater distances involved except possibly in a few very dense corridors such as the DC-NY northeast corridor, but even there it is not likely to be economically feasible within any of our lifetimes.Japan's doing it....Maglev.
Too much red tape and bureaucracy in the US....
