On a different forum - about 30-days ago - I ran across an appraiser who was completing them..... anyone else ?
I will try to find the article for you guys.

My lenders have no idea what's coming IMO.
For-what-its-worth...I have talked to more than a couple of reviewers (4) - they are not happy either.

I took a "New UAD" class the other day - hoping for some enlightenment.....what a waste of time.

Hope it stays that way, its there to try to take data and make it more onerous to get rid of us.

I believe there is one confirmed completion of a report in the new format, but quite honestly, who knows what to believe when you mix GSEs, AMCs, CE providers and the notorious Vegas gang.
Are you talking about my girlfriend Joan in the Vegas gang? You know I don't like you talking about my girlfriend. :cryingsmiley:

She is my partner.

My girlfriend Joan has divorced me. She don't love me anymore. She was my partner. Now she loves me and leaves me.

We were such good partners.

@Terrel L. Shields says she is my girlfriend. It is true.

"Partner" term will resonate in my mind the rest of my life.

If hardly anybody does them and even a mini refi boom starts we can kill it.

Drag your feet hardcore.

If clients ask.. tell them you're working on it but don't lift a finger. You can always catch up in 2027 if you're absolutely forced .

Well, it is not supposed to be required until November 2026. Will that be pushed? If there is a refi boom, how many will want to use the old form instead?

That all being said, I just looked at another appraiser's appraisal. 68 pages with 30+ pages of addenda with mostly CYA and EAs and nonsense. I could have done that report is less than 30 pages. Only three pictures a page too. No wonder it takes some days to complete a report after inspection.

It would be informative if we knew how long from start to finish to compete the new Abomination form.
Will be money loser for appraisers doing it for first time, or second time, .....or always unless fees go up.
