FANNIE bonds with AMCs, over your dead low paid body.

If in fact a fairly large percentage of appraisers will take a hard pass on doing mandatory 3.6 appraisals when that beastie becomes the requirement for the GSE loans, I predict it will create a backlog in the loan closing pipelines, and many real estate salespeople (and their Buyers/Sellers) are going to experience a real knot in their undies. Perhaps that's why they scheduled implementation for November, typically a slower period for sales, before a busier spring market.

Webb Co. warns homeowners about third-party property tax protest companies

LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Homeowners and business owners across Webb County have been receiving letters and messages from third-party companies offering to protest their property appraisals — for a fee.

County officials say the services those companies sell are already available through the appraisal district at no cost.

“The need to pay someone several hundred dollars, maybe more than that, I don’t know exactly what they’re charging. It’s absolutely ludicrous to me,” said Bobby Peregoy, Webb County Chief Appraiser.

those middlemen bad...these middlemen good :rof:

are you ok?
Why would you ask that by making a statement on boycotting AMCs??

Appraisers Nationwide should collectively just stop and refuse to work for them along with sending a press release to the major Media outlets stating we're tired of our fees being pilferred and that AMC's are scamming not only appraisers, but the public too.....

BECAUSE it was not a question. You live in fantasy land. You know how immature you sound?

I received a "final request" from an AMC I stopped taking work from a couple years ago due to their corner-cutting, lowered fees, and promotion of bifurcated 'appraisals'. They demanded to know if I was fully 'certified' (or whatever) to do the 3.6 UADs. Keeping in mind the software available is too glitchy to use in a functional way, and the 3.6 requirement is still 8 months away, AND their history of trying to get the most info with the least pay, I didn't even respond. If they had prefaced their 'request' with "how much would you charge for a standard/typical 3.6 UAD", I would have told them the number starts with a 6 and 2 zeros. That's where I start paying attention and responding. Perhaps I should have responded, "What is your standard fee for 3.6 UAD typical appraisal so I know whether I should waste a minute of my time answering you?"

If i say are you dumb? is that a question or am i making fun of you? you actually think people sit there and wait for your to respond if you are dumb lmao. Its annoying to intereact with people who just dont get it, and everything needs to be explained to them.
