More AMC and PDC Bull

Doesn't matter much longer res appraiser population is going to decline so the ones left standing may get more money

Correction ...Employed or self employed population with a computer on their desk are going to decline.

What I posted above said appraisers . not borrowers/consumers thats all I know
I looked at one filing in Fla. It was a class action filed by a consumer. Same with one in CA. They are both filing under consumer protection laws. Don't see how an appraiser could be a party unless they also paid for an appraisal associated with the defendants. I have learned not to trust Co Pilot

Well thats good that you looked at the actual filings instead of anyone guessing The larger point is that something will be resolved, MAYBE because there may be appeals

What it was about was licensing and college degree. I looked a the numbers of life time earnings and benefits ofW2 versus 10o99'

I was speaking only to the appraiser population aging out . so if your point is they don't grasp tecnology well you might be right but regardless if many won't be working anyway

Can you possibly consider not attributing to people sentiments they never expressed? That is not a persuasive mode of discourse.
I would appreciate if everyone did that.

The lawyers are probably having to subpoena records on AMC fees and appraisal fees which means lenders are having to turn over those records. The judge has to grant the subpoena and then the AMC and bank have to give the lawyers the records to go through.

They are definitely looking at if from the borrower's standpoint. They are not looking at it from the appraiser's standpoint, however the appraiser stands to benefit if they win and get fees separated on truth in lending disclosures.

Some State governments stand to win also because of State business tax relative to appraisals and AMCs.

No, I am not.

I was under the impression that these were lawsuits filed on the behalf of the borrowers/consumers. I believe it would be worthwile to contact at least one of the firms to see if a future lawsuit might be possible for appraisers.
Let me know what you find out about that.
