Discussion about AMC worth watching

Put down pre-emergent a few weeks ago and the yard is weeds AGAIN.

When you say, 'liberal', are you talking politically? Or are you lumping the ValExpo crowd in with the political 'liberals'? I've always found it entertaining, enlightening, and possibly educational to listen to others. Seems to me that if you restrict your audience to those that agree with you, you're left with little more than the proverbial circle session. Although I do understand there are those who prefer that environment.
i said leftist but same thing. i don't know what you are talking about. you seem bored.

95% on this forum hate AMCs so in general ones who've been on this forum for 15 to 20 years tend to believe most appraisers hate AMCs and so we start to live in a bubble.

My partner loved his AMCs and most paid him good fees and he also eliminated all marketing costs which he previously was one of the few appraisers I've known that was always spending money on getting additional business.

Most of the appraisers prior to the AMCs worked in fee split shops where they collected 40% to 50% and today they do better with good AMC versus old fee sweat shops.

The reason AMC are not a battle is there are more loan production appraisers that like the AMC model then ones who want to do their own marketing. The forum members are a minority in the hate for the AMC model and that's why the AMC is not going away.
actually you are in a bubble, and you don't know what you are talking about. You are seriously annoying.

No matter which thread this 123 guy comments in, or starts like this one, he lashes out as he interprets disagreement as disrespect.

Rather than engage in rational discussions, he reacts emotionally and defensively. His trolling style seems to be aimed at provocation not dialog. Dude needs to lighten up....

He's easily triggered and think's everyone loves AMCs. But what he doesn't consider is there are many appraisers that do like working for AMCs especially ones who never did work for direct lenders. So it's a life experience perspective.

there is no life experience perspective, that doesn't even make sense. just because there are a few good AMCs doesn't mean we should be pro AMCs. i do agree i am easily triggered, i need to take a chill pill.

Nobody's ever told you to be Pro AMC but if you don't work for them why do you even care ? There's nobody you interact with on the AF that's out promoting the AMC model but there are folks who may have no choice they need the income.
