Subtle, yet I still sense the corral leading to the "DEI-social equity rant" closing in on me in this discussion. As evidenced by the last administration, Democrats don't like old white men in control of other people's fortunes so we could expect some more people of color & women with rainbow hair in the profession.
Not intended as subtle. Intended as overt. And obvious. And kindly note that my question was about the appraisal process, not the demographics of the population.
That is only a trick question to the extent someone would attempt to gaslight their own reasoning.
FTR, if appraisal requirements were changed to base appraisals on some form of "Equitable Value" definition I would go with that flow without any qualms. If that's what they think is meaningful to their decision making then that's fine by me.
