Do you call borrower for exterior appraisal?

Normally I don't call but to get better idea of condition inside and any additional information, I think I should. Client did provide name and phone number of owner.
Just curious do my peers call and ask information to the borrower for 2055 Exterior.

I typically will call to ask about interior condition unless there is reason not to do so.

Besides location, condition is major factor in appraised value.
I normally check the permits to see if any major change but none available.
I was going to call but I'll drive by and if it looks like a dump, I'll assume inside also not that nice.

With the new UAD 3.6, I will have to call the owner especially to verify Condition, Quality, Internet availability, Roof age, and so on and so on.

If they give you a phone number, then they obviously want a better interior description.
No phone number, probable a hostile delinquent payments appraisal.
First few 3/6 test run is at now fee. Once test run done, prepare lender for my new fee. Just watching the 3.6 videos is time annoying as to having to check every box like it be the original box. And retyping the 1000 comments i had for every occasion, in stopping any revision request.

A large AMC had classes on 3.6. I missed the set times. But they were nice to live videos for me to review. Haven't had a chance to watch them. I'll watch them on November 1.
