Still among the least useful comments seen on the internet on any given day, though. But, credit where credit is due...30,000+ stupid posts in a row has to be regarded as consistent, if nothing else.

By the time the state has determined a certain course offering from a specific vendor is acceptable it seems to me that the approval should extend to the course itself, without requiring each applicant to submit for separate approval.
That's how it works here. Once the state has approved the course, the provider sends your completion info to the state and you get the credit. It's only of you take a class that isn't appoved by the state that the individual appraiser has to submit it for credit.

This would be the logical solution. Unfortunately, we have government involved.

The future of the valuation profession is being shaped right now.

This week, AI President Michael Mignogna and Director of Government Affairs Scott DiBiasio are attending the Appraisal Foundation Board of Trustees meeting, where discussions on appraiser qualification requirements and profession growth are front and center.

Before the meetings kicked off, our team connected with valuation leaders from around the world, covering topics like global standards development, technology's role in the profession, and how to bring more people into appraisal.

This is the work that moves the profession forward.
