Intimidation....I Will Not Be Silenced

I have an ad out on craigslist right now for someone who can fill out the entire sales grid. As long as I state it was provided by a third-party I’m good. I love scoping away misleading

Let the good times roll.
Data entry doesn't involve any analyses, opinions and conclusions. There are already companies selling those services at the overnight turn around. No disclosures necessary because that isn't "professional assistance".

I’ll leave the sweatshops for you, Glenn and the GSE‘s
???? I never ran any trainees. I never even considered it.

In fact, I was telling people here not to go buck wyld with trainees back before you took your first Appraisal 101 course. I was telling everyone not to oversaturate your market lest it hurt them in the long run when volumes dropped. Matter of fact, if they had listened to me you wouldn't have even gotten into this business. If they had held their mud you and I wouldn't even be having this discussion right now because you'd be doing something else for a living.

I actually downloaded one of the appraisalware suites and will start trying to work my way through one this weekend (too busy to get to it right now).

Then will you shut up about it? I can't use the getup for my day job so I won't be wasting my time competing with the SFR appraisers. .
YesI will shut up when you try even one page of it!! Appreciate the effort. Which one did you choose to try? Best of luck

And here I thought your intent was to prompt for more empathy for your struggles. Apparently not. (one thing I was smart enough to do was to avoid the alamode setup, though)

Meanwhile I haven't been commenting on the specifics of the 3.6 so far. I don't know why you would think that any continuance of not commenting on 3.6 specifics would represent any change on my part. But I'll follow through anyway just to shut you up. Worth it.,

I already am. I’ve almost always had 2 income streams. I never worked for a sweatshop. Never operated one either. I’ve never encountered anyone more wrong about so many things than you. :rof:

But now I know why you’re so emotional about this. You’ve devoted your entire life and career to a profession that’s currently a complete **** show. And you’re forced to defend the positions that put us here. I get it.

I actually wanted to see what you thought of the program, since it is so radically different than any other form of software. Emphasis is cool too if you can spare any; if not, that's okay too !

I don't complain because I have no reason to complain. The appraisal profession has been a good fit for me. I'd still rather do this than most of my alternatives.

As for the status quo, what's to defend? My point all along has been that there were reasons behind each of these decisions. I didn't agree with all of those reasons but I more/less understand those reasons.

Same as always: "Bad" compared to what alternative?

I don't think I'm a good test mule for any of these apps because I haven't been using any of them. I don't appraise the same property type every day and I'm not in the 2.6 groove with any of them. So I have to start from scratch with an appraisalware suite and learn the suite at the same time as the 3.6.

Besides, if it goes badly and I note the app then it might be more my fault than theirs', and if it goes okay then that's also not going to result on my commenting on the 3.6 because I'm still not chasing houses and hassling with AMC clerks every day. And since the AMC issue seems to be the primary basis for you accusing me of not understanding your struggle then whether this goes easy or hard for me isn't going to add anything to the discussion.

The sole purpose of this exercise is to move you on to a more meaningful tangent.,

I wonder what would have happened if a bunch of appraisers had gone to TAF and the appraisal boards and tried to get it approved to send anyone they wanted out to do appraisal inspections? Maybe some of those guys that ran FL and CA sweat shops just said I’m tired of paying trainees. I want to use someone even cheaper :rof: I wonder how TAF and board would have reacted.

Probably would depend on who they paid to lobby for them.
