Lenders are mandated to review X percentage of appraisals and unless a report is shown to be extremely poor quality and can't be relied on another full appraisal can't normally be ordered because then people often start accusations that a higher value was being seeked out.

Actually appraising is like learning to ride a bike and once a person has appraised a few thousand there's not much to it.

For a 60 to 75 year old going out and driving 4 hours a day in traffic while not even being paid is stupid and a bad business model and there's no glory bragging about being boots on the ground.

Unlike most school teachers who
go directly from college to teaching with no real life experience most older reviewers spent years as boots on the ground and have real life experience.

Not all of them.
