lol. But I wasn't defending that position. I was actually stating that - in most situations - there probably isn't a need to drive the comps... :)
Well, got it backwards.

Yes, the lines are visible in both pics and if you're geographically competent you know where the high transmission power lines are already
I tell people that my house is the first one south of the transmission line on my road and half don't know south from north and the other half don't know there is a transmission line on that road.

big city, 100 +/- identical row homes on each city block. the poorer the neighborhood, there may only be a few addresses showing. FHA, i take a picture with more than just the subject because i'm not sure. don't you know that they want a picture of the exact row house. they are all identical, pick the one you like.
i know, i know, that was a lesson learned only once.

That is how we take comp pics of farm and ranch sales during or shortly after a snowstorm. Just stand on a low knoll and turn a few degrees between photos. The light changes a little with each, so no two are exactly alike and you can never mix them up!

Good for you, sorry not going to do that, glad you are so charismatic :rof:
There are prolly many things that I do in order to complete an appraisal that you don't do. I'm glad that I am charismatic also.
