1004D then Revision for any damage from Declared Disaster

Does that fee now sound like a winner for the potential risk involved.

I recently got asked to complete a 1004D form for a particular item on an FHA appraisal. The original appraisal was subject to the interior flooring being replaced. I was not the original appraiser. I went into the home and checked off this particular item, took pictures, and turned in the 1004D as completed. The AMC later asked in a revision for me to "confirm subject did not sustain any damage as a result of the declared disaster".

My thought process is that I did not complete a full inspection of the home to know for sure, I get from some it may be an easy-to-do item, but how can I comfortably say the home did not sustain any damages if I did not complete a full inspection as the intended use was never to do so but only to verify that the repair item had been fixed. Any thoughts?
This wouldn't be problem if you had explicitly stated exactly what you were going to do in the SOW..."The SOW for this assignment is to verify that zzz is complete and to document with photos".

Then, when they come back you can show them that what they are asking for is a new request. And I NEVER ask or permit them to send me the OA. Just tell me exactly what I am confirming and what photos do you want. I never got less than $200 for one of these.

So long ago, when all my business disappeared because of AMC USPAP, i got a call from one AMC who thought my normal fee was to high. Their words were ' we have appraisers doing them for $125 in california.
i never took AMC work, not helping the AMC masters make all the money. So i had financial difficulties because of AMC low fee appraisers, and you don't understand my beat down?
my point is i never had to do AMC work but I don't berate the people that did take on the AMC work and also understand their dilemma. Not everyone is so amazing and strong as you, so continue with your beatdown and belittling of many. Great you weathered your own personal income struggles but not everyone is you. Others were forced to take the low fees hoping to survive til things improved.
