Wow. Burning through all of the grant money as quickly as possible. But I'm sure there's more $$ coming considering RSDS has a seat at TAF's table now.

Anyway, wish the alphabet soup in DC would have sent a few $$ down to boots on the ground appraisers who have trainees.

Are the experience hours guaranteed?
No, the experience hours listed are the potential hours that will be available and are only achieved based on participation and the quality of work produced.

Adam Newsom, a seasoned appraisal professional with two decades of experience, brings a wealth of expertise to his role at RSDS. Now based in Kansas City, Adam is deeply committed to shaping the future of the appraisal industry by mentoring and training the next generation of appraisers. Over his career, Adam has successfully guided more than 15 appraisers to certification, many of whom have gone on to establish thriving careers in markets across Arizona, Kansas, Missouri, Texas, and Florida. His dedication to fostering talent and advancing professional standards underscores his vital role in the appraisal community.

he looks so young to have trained 15... :rof:

Yep.

Not long ago the alphabet soup in DC changed the rules because indie appraisers were training too many appraisers. But it's OK now that the muckety-mucks can make $$ doing it virtually across several states. Color me surprised.

Razor Blade Mouth is the new covid variant...:)

Maybe $2,000 to take the clases to become a registered trainee... then work for a mentor who will pay you while you are logging experience. What's being offered is only an improvement for someone who has plenty of cash and is very impatient.

It would be interesting to see the ratio of students who pay vs students on scholarship. But they will never release the numbers. Every person I've communicated with acknowledges PAREA and Practicum are being supported by TAF-ADI grant money, and without that funding both are dead.
