Henry Harrison has written an excellent article on the new legislation that goes into effect in January, 2009. We should join forces with him to petition congress about it. He is not volunteering to do anything....but maybe we could draft him.

Ruth Lambert, Henry's wife, has written some good lessons on report writing re: grammar and spelling and why they are important. Everyone should read it and learn. What she does not mention is that curing the bad grammar and spelling requires practice, practice and more practice. Bad grammar and spelling is not indicative of stupidity or lack of education, (well, maybe partially lack of education) meaning the lack of a college degree, just day to day practice. Grammar can be practiced in just speaking. Spelling AND grammar can be practiced with everything you write. That includes your responses in this forum as well as reports, even "love letters." Use spell check to grade your writing and to upgrade your reports.

Go to realestatevaluation.com. to read those two articles in the Spring edition.

I got a degree and my grammar and spelling stinks. I will split the infinitive to boldly write what no one has ever written before.

My grammar loves me and bakes me cookies.
