Yep, just like an auction, where cheapest and fastest wins. My fee of $1,700 was agreed to and I did not go back to re-negotiate the appraisal fee after I found out that the lender stated the contract price was $8,769,375 when per the contract the actual contract and counters stated a contract price of $8,825,000. Lender never explained where they came up with their very odd number contract price. I am waiting for the revision requests now.
