Not sure what software you have. But I did my first 3.6 last week. And I have a friend that has done about 5. Both my friend and I have Total. He doesn't use the Mobile App, and I do. My first one went just fine. Obviously a learning curve with the software. It went fine. Extra time, but not a lot. And my friend that has done 5 says it gets better each one you do. I think it depends upon what software you are using. I wouldn't panic. I would educate yourself on the software. I spent about a half day just going through my software and the mobile app before I went out. I also took the Alamode seminar that takes you through the software. Both were invaluable. It is a learning curve. This is doable.

Yeah but I don't want to do 3.6. So I'm not doing 3.6. Let everyone else do free beta testing, I might show up later.

The ASC could more accurately and clearly provide licensing figures, trending, easy to access data on multiple license holders, the long term trending of the decline of residential appraisers.

They don't. On purpose. AMC's run all the appraisal trade groups, they have insider appraisers at every major appraisal institution.

Appraisal independence is a myth. It does not exist in the real world.

The appraisal industry has devolved into a branch of the AMC criminal enterprises.

Get your mind around the reality of the situation.

If you're a mortgage lending appraiser you will not have to worry though, you are long since slated for extinction sooner than later. It's only a matter of time now.

Pepsi challenge to convince a cpa, or private person to actually want to get a private appraisal on the 3.6 form. You will not get there. But it would be a great opportunity to appear instantly incompetent. Who breaks up the appraisal grid, a math equation, into five different pages and forgets the net/gross indicators?

This industry is getting exactly what it deserves. Honest application of ethic left the building a very long time ago. These days 'ethics' is rewritten as necessary, as directed by the AMC industry, on a bi annual basis. Enter; automation. Exactly as requested.

Seeing how this works yet? If you want to be a truly honest and independent, ethically minded appraiser, you probably don't want to associate with too many other appraisers. The state of this god forsaken industry.
