3.6 and ACI

Been using ACI since 1987 (likely this is before the competition even existed)—don't want to switch at this point. I took the day to try out ACI 3.6. At first run, it could not be any more UN-user-friendly. Has anyone tried this out with a different experience ? The level of redundancy is off the charts—there are numerous entries that are the same for over 95% of all appraisals we complete - yet we can't create a template ? It appears they always need manual input—every field—over and over ? The drop-down menus offer entries we will never use—there should be a way to manually arrange those so the most often used ones appear at the top of the menu. There just couldn't have been many, if any, appraisers on the development team, and if there were, were they appraisers who actually worked completing many appraisals as quickly as possible ? Even the form format cannot be customized—no canned comments allowed ??? There does not appear to be anything considered that would save an appraiser time. Good thing the other software companies are giving out free demo time. What am i missing here? Has anyone tried ACI 3.6 ? There are many more apparent issues than i've listed. I hope i'm wrong here - but initial use was highly disappointing. The cloud-based "solution" is quite a risk to take - the internet went down for an hour due to a storm and i had no access to the appraisal.
how do you access ACI 3.6?

Mentioned by them, win total is going to have a drop down quick list for saved items.

See below. (That's as far as I will ever get. But there's your answer).

Alisie I've had a few conversations with Grok about 3.6 and the Abomination factor, I find it telling how Grok's tone (if there is such a thing) has changed from "There is no Abomination to maybe there are some problems with it." :giggle:

"Some" problems. But you do know it can only take information from sources available to it. No one has said anything super positive about it. If it were suddenly talked up like it was the second coming, then Grok might change its mind.

Maybe Pulte told Elon to feed it some more GSE 'data dreckshill points'. :ROFLMAO:

Go ahead, keep testing then come and report back to us.

Like that other poster said, "after 40 years in the business I'm not going to relearn how to appraise".

That about sums up my take on it as well...;)... ie 'F# U* and don't let the door hit you on the way out':ROFLMAO:

Told another scum AMC this AM to go and pound sand after their 'second notice' to respond to their Abomination questionnaire ... Oh it feels good let me tell you ... :coolsmiley:

I just watched a webinar on total with these 2 dudes who did not give me much confidence. I had to shut it off after 15 minutes after watching the one dude struggle with his mobile data thingy after bragging about how great it was..

I think the problem is you have tech/programmers who are not appraisers and don't understand the appraisal process and appraisers who do not understand the process of programming. And they don't seem to be communicating with each other. In the rollout of 3.6, both are pretty important.

This one dude was professing to be both. It's kind of like being a cab driver and they tell you that there is a new type of cab you have to use, but they haven't put the wheels on yet...and the steering wheel is in the back seat..

Maybe he is not very good at either job. They are 2 professions that you have to stay current at.
