If its Hopland weed, it could add considerable value if they have the proper permits. Greg B can elaborate. Of course at some point it becomes a commercial venture, and a residential mortgage might be inappropriate.

Are you implying that North Carolina does not have that form of ................exotic agriculture? LOL
 
Its the largest cash crop in NC and we are at or near the top in Tobacco, Pigs, and Turkeys (maybe chickens, I'll have to check). Of course pig and turkey poop makes excellent fertilizer for green$ crops.
