As a kid, I remember an uncle who had 5+-acres of olives. He farmed them himself, even harvested, processed and cured them. I don't recall if he sold them by the jar or in bulk, but that was his sole income. Yes, it was a thousand years ago but olive oil is very popular now....just look on grocery store shelves and check the prices! I would think that 30 acres of olives could earn a reasonable living. Therefore, it would have to be appraised as an AG/commercial property.

BTW, my uncle was quite a prankster. New visitors or city slickers would always be offered a sample olive that had not completely "cured." After the taster had calmed down from gagging, he would be told that he must have taken one that wasn't ripe yet. Life was simple way back then.
