IMO, the Alamode market share increase is probably based upon the special pricing and 10 year guarantee. That's a pretty good offer, but a 5 year guarantee would be more realistic sounding since Chrysler, Hyundai, Kia's use of the 10 year thing have me wondering, since Honda & Toyota, Acura & Lexus don't bother with that pitch.
I don't doubt the sincerity, just making the comment that very long commitments can outlive a business, let alone, an appraiser's career:laugh:
Our pricing really hasn't changed that much when you factor in all the discounts that we consistently offered throughout the year. As a result, the 10 year guarantee at $349 - including our TOTAL software, Silver-level support, maps, data, UAD, mobile tools, and more - was an easy decision to make.
We don't believe it will outlive the business. In fact, we take it a step further by buying out appraisers' contracts with their current vendors when they make the switch and still offer a 100 day money-back guarantee.
