Did HUD put something out that they are going back to the Compliance inspection 92501. I have not used this since at least I believe 99 and I have UW at a "Major" asking the Final to be done on this. I was a CHUMS from 89 to the Open Panel and when they Opened up the Panel to all I really don't recall having seen or being asked for this. 2014, 15 years later I am getting this request?
Anyone else?

The 92501 is still used for new construction and mfg homes.

I guess it could be what HUD District your located in as in my Area I have not been asked for it for many years although having I am sure 100+ Finals. Also if I am reading it correct. The 92501 was to expire 06/2014.

I am not aware of any retirement or expiration of the form. I try to keep up on things like that.

This is from Mortgagee Letter 2009-51:

SUBJECT: Adoption of the Appraisal Update and/or Completion Report (Fannie Mae Form
1004D/Freddie Mac Form 442/March 2005)
The Federal Housing Administration (FHA) is adopting the Appraisal Update and/or
Completion Report, Fannie Mae Form 1004D/Freddie Mac Form 442/March 2005. This is a dualpurpose
form. Part A, Summary Appraisal Update Report, provides for updates of existing
appraisals when the appraiser concurs with the original appraisal report and updates the appraisal by
incorporating the original appraisal report. Part B, Certification of Completion, provides for
compliance repair and completion inspections for existing and new construction dwellings. This
mortgagee letter is effective for all case number assignments on or after January 1, 2010.

Part B/Completion Report
1. To report the completion of a repair and/or the satisfaction of requirements and conditions
noted in the original appraisal report referenced in the header of the Summary Appraisal
Update and/or Completion Report.

Part B/Completion Report
1. The Completion Report may not be used in lieu of form HUD-92051, Compliance
Inspection Report, for new construction and manufactured housing.

Thanks for Comments. I did speak to another Guy I have know since the early 90's and He also was with me that we believe the Philadelphia which is our District might have been the one's originally back when to implement policy.

As per the Form, check out the Top Right hand corner. "EXP 06/30/2014" Maybe they did not Retire the Form.

Expiry and rescind dates are just about moot today. The VA's "Tidewater Memo" (actually known as VA Circular 26-03-11, issued 12/2003) rescind date was 01/01/2007 and it is still in effect today.
