A.I. Stuff

Don't ever doubt brother Elon. Tesla phones are up next

T-Mobile spent five years trying to get rid of the exact spectrum Elon just called "the last critical piece" of complete phone coverage in America. This 800 MHz block is Sprint's old Nextel spectrum, the stuff that powered push-to-talk walkie-talkie phones in 2004. The DOJ forced T-Mobile to divest it as a condition of the $26 billion Sprint merger. Dish had first rights at $3.59 billion and walked away because it couldn't raise the money. T-Mobile finally offloaded it to an investment firm called Grain Management last year for $2.9 billion plus a spectrum swap.Grain's original plan was selling it to utilities for private networks.Fourteen months later, SpaceX buys the whole portfolio, and shares of the carriers who passed on it fall as much as 8% in a single afternoon. Here's why it matters so much. Starlink's satellite signal at 2 GHz can reach your phone outdoors, but it dies at the first wall. 800 MHz penetrates buildings. Most phones already have the band built in. So satellites handle the open sky, this low-band layer handles indoors, and suddenly Starlink Mobile covers everywhere a normal carrier does without the tower network.Stack the moves. $17 billion for EchoStar's 50 MHz of 2 GHz spectrum. FCC approval for 15,000 Gen2 satellites this week. Now the low-band coverage layer.Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile paid $81 billion in a single auction for C-band spectrum in 2021, then spent years and tens of billions more deploying it on towers. SpaceX assembled a nationwide carrier out of a distressed-asset sale, a forced divestiture castoff, and rockets it already owns. The walkie-talkie spectrum from 2004 ended up being the piece that lets satellites replace cell towers. Nobody who touched it for twenty years saw that coming.

if you are a dummy like me this teal usb port on your pc this ss10 usb port is 26x faster than a standard usb 2.0 port that downloads (pics, movies or data) at 75 GIG PER MINUTE. all these years I thought it was some kind of firewire port lol. when I DL inspection pics off my phone my pc will load every pic/movie which sometimes took forever now it's almost instant. and for some reason when I plug my phone up I have 2 options to choose from. one of the S24Ultra's I pick will show all folders on my phone while the other just movies and pics. anyhoo, good to know. also, the blue ones are half that speed but still crush usb 2.0

USB-C on a macbook is 5GB/Sec....or 300GB/Min. I'm not sure why I needed to say that, but since this is an AI thread, I just wanted to say that the limit of AI is that it is based on the 'probability of words.'

He might be an autistic space nazi, but I will never ever underestimate that Elon. If he say's we're getting space phones, then that is what we will get.

A friend took this from near the Space Coast.

I'm just spitballing, but let's say Anthropic releases a version that goes rogue and takes down a million customers of a securities broker. So the multi-trillion dollar corporation gets sued for the account balances. There goes a $1 Trillion in Anthropic value and $1 Million goes to each of the 1 million clients. Be careful out there.

In case anyone thinks their vibe coded 3.6 or even 2.6 form will work with lenders you work with this is what you'll be up against. If anyone has actually got theirs to go through I'd love to hear about it.

**No. The lender submitting it to UCDP does not make a vibe-coded report “legit” or certify the software.**

Here’s the actual split:

- **UCDP itself** mainly cares about the file. It validates the ZIP package (XML + PDF + images) against the UAD 3.6 schema and compliance rules. If the XML is well-formed and passes those checks, UCDP can accept it regardless of which software created it. There is no hard gate at the portal that says “this XML must come from a vendor on the Integrated Vendor List.”

- **The real gate is the lender/AMC.** They control what they will accept from the appraiser in the first place. Most lender portals, AMC systems, and internal policies are built around reports coming from **verified** UAD 3.6 software providers. They are not set up to ingest random custom or AI-generated XML packages, and they generally won’t. Fannie Mae has specifically encouraged lenders to work with appraisal software providers whose software has been verified for UAD 3.6.

So in practice:
- An independent contractor using a vibe-coded tool almost always gets stopped at the lender/AMC intake stage.
- Even if a lender somehow took the file and pushed it through UCDP successfully, that does not “certify” the software or make the generation method approved. It just means that particular data package happened to validate.
- Liability, revision workflows, portal integrations, and future audits all still point back to using verified software. Lenders don’t want the risk of accepting reports from unlisted tools.

**Short version:**
UCDP validates the *content*. Lenders and AMCs decide whether they will even take the file from you. The lender’s submission does not turn non-verified software into GSE-verified software. The people saying “just send it through a lender and it’s fine” are ignoring how the actual order and delivery workflow works.
