A loan officer called me today and was asked by HUD if a particular PUD was a "Spot Lot". I don't know what this is and have not heard of it. It's not in my real estate dictionary either. Does anyone have any idea what this is?

This refers to the acceptance of HUD for a lot in a PUD without the entire PUD and/or section of the PUD being approved.

HUD has recently done away with PUD approval. Check the HUD site for more information.
