ACI Crashing

Program crashes every time I open it after it is unused for a few hours. It crashes at the end of every sketch. It crashes when I run Review Master, and when I run the MISMO report creator. Everu time I call I am told it is because of file size that requies conversion to .zoo. That's easy to do but why isn't zoo the defealt file extension rather than ACI. Hoping peer users can tell me something that ACI tech support can't or won't (although I have great luck always with tech support in general). Thanks. GM

You have a crypted file you work off of. Same thing happed to me. Need to redownload the software again. It's a pain, but it worked for me. Redo your templates as well after downloading it.

I don't know what kind of support they have. But alamode can log into you computer and see what is going on with the software. They can see the errors that the software might be generating. Sometimes it might be something else making the computer crash. But those techs with alamode can see what kind of errors the computer is generating when it crashes the software.

there is a conflict with some other system window files. sometimes it's a needle in the haystack. when wintotal was quirky i would have to uninstall it, then reinstall it. did you run your computer's sfc/scan now program. if there are any file corruption problems, it will find and correct them. but not having your computer in front of me,. it'a a needle in a haystack problem.
how about window updates, and driver updates.

Totally off subject, but this reminds me of a funny funny true story. My pal is like a 60-year-old disabled former Marine who started dating a widowed woman a few months ago. He essentially moved in with her after a couple months, although she is an extremely devout relligious individual. Seems like a couple of weeks ago he bought her a new TV, because hers was real old and he also because he wanted to watch a boxing match on TV. Well.....a few days later she comes screaming at him, because she is certain that he bought the TV because it has a hidden device that would allow him to track her activities around the house when he isn't home!!!!! That match in heaven fell apart immediately. He left the TV behind and moved his stuff out the next day.
