The Appraiser Certification and Licensure Board is seeking qualified candidates for a second investigator.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Required Skills):

• Five years experience doing administrative research that included compiling and evaluating facts to recommend management action, or decide compliance or eligibility with program guidelines and regulations;
• College-level course work may substitute for experience on the basis of 45 quarter units per year, up to a maximum of three years.

DESIRED ATTRIBUTES:

• A current license or certificate to appraise real property and be in good standing with the state having jurisdiction over your real estate appraisal activity; and
• Experience conducting investigations, including interviewing witnesses and other associated parties;
• Experience collecting, organizing and analyzing records and other documents;
• Experience applying laws and administrative rules to factual scenarios and explaining such analysis both verbally and in writing;
• Experience responding directly to customer inquiries regarding laws, rules, policies or procedures, both verbally and in writing;
• Three (3) years of technical or professional experience performing appraisal reviews, monitoring appraisal programs, or auditing appraisal reports;
• Proficiency in technical and persuasive writing;
• Effective communication skills.
