I doubt that turning it over to the state would do much good because they seem to be overloaded with complaints about crooked and incompetent appraisers.

Maybe the news media could get some mileage from it. Someone like Robert Bruss or Ken Harney might incorporate it into one of their future articles.

Maybe the LO should just get a "good" appraiser like the one in the post from the Miami Herald.

I think Richard'd reponse is very well written and sounds like it is coming from a reasonable person. I usually add something to explain the differences between sales and comparables.
