Hi AForumites!

I'm in the middle of Appraising a Rural Farm Property that has Concreted Lots for Calving, Feeder Cattle and Calves.

My question is: How many square feet is needed per Animal?

Any Help Will Be GREATLY Appreciated!

HAVE A GOOD LABOR DAY WEEKEND EVERYONE!

Jim Payne (SD) ;)

Just sent you a private message regarding my brother in NE NE who can talk longer and more extensively about cattle feeding than I can about appraising! He is THE expert in NE on feeding beef cattle. He'll probably even be able to describe your subject's operation to you!

If Jo Ann's brother does not get in touch, suggest you check with your local county ag advisor's office, usually they are connected with your states university and have access to experts in the field and plenty of data.

Sounds like Jo Ann's brother best source and I am going to remember this post the next time I get one of these assignments.
