Alamode & Their UAD 3.6 Form Is A Disaster

Just spent several hours on Total just working up a test on my house. I gave up. What a freaking mess.
Thanks for the update. I was about to try it out, but it’s still cold here. Figured I would be outside too long to deal with a crap program. I am going to try out SFREP. 6 months free. They were the first to deliver a UAD 3.6. It means a different program. And there may be some things I don’t like about it. But Total has been giving all this crap about being ready, and they aren’t. The biggest problem is that SFREP does not have an inherent mobile program, so I will have to get that as well and learn it. I haven’t used paper and pencil for 20 years. And I don’t believe SFREP has a electronic filing system for the workfile like Total. I really don’t want to go back to saving paper, etc.

Is Total saying its ready for 3.6, or still in beta?
I'm sitting in a webinar right now, Joel claims you can complete a 3.6 with TOTAL. But mobile sketch still doesn't transfer into the report, they are "teaching" the sketcher new 3.6 requirements.

EDIT: The sketch doesn't transfer from mobile, other data does (photos, etc.).

Without the mobile app I don’t even want to try it.

The app works, just doesn't import the sketch or related sketch info like living area, room count, etc. The rest of the app works but they are still polishing it up. BUT I'll say this; For all of the bluster about "mobile or die" in the new 3.6 world, they aren't there yet by a long shot. A good amount of the setup is on the desktop.

Farther along than ACI at least

For me it is the sketch that is the important part. On the old form I could do the sketch, put in the rooms, hit the rooms and take the necessary information down and shoot the photos. Without that the mobile app, IMHO, total is worthless. I won’t use it until that is developed. Thankfully, I’m retired. And frankly I don’t see how the software people will be ready by November. Not going to happen. This is coming up on March and the programs are basically all in beta stage.
