ALL my reports are gone, Al a Mode can't tell me why

Me personally, I would take my computer to a local expert. That is just me. If was unable to get help from windows, alamode, manufacturer of computer, I would take it to a local professional to diagnose and find your files.

The odds are very slim that windows, alamode, manufacturer of computer can't find your files by logging into your system.

You have to give them permission to log into your computer. They will find the files.
Well, that's 100% your opinion, I have taken it to multiple experts and they are simply gone, they are not on the hard drive or anywhere on the computer, and Alamode logged onto my computer twice and they have no idea what happened or where the reports went.

So what happened? Files found? Success?

I have taken it to multiple experts and they are simply gone, they are not on the hard drive or anywhere on the computer, and Alamode logged onto my computer twice and they have no idea what happened or where the reports went. I took my computer to a VERY smart computer guy, his nickname is MacGyver, after Alamode logging in to my computer twice, my friend who's a computer wiz looking at it and MacGyver looking at it, nothing, NO ONE seems to know where they went.

The MacGyver gentleman, after several hours, said, "well, I haven't said this in a long time, but I am stumped" his other comment was that alamode/Wintotal is one of the WORST software that he's ever seen in his life. My Wintotal expires next March and I will not continue to use them.

I upload all my appraisal files to an external hard drive from time to time, so I still have some files saved, we were able to take all of the recent reports I have completed that were saved to PDF an XML and transfer them back to Wintotal, about 35 files, with 3.6 UAD coming up, I already had 1 foot out the door as an appraiser, this may have been the last nudge.

And for everyone saying they aren't gone, they are, they are NO WHERE on the hard drive or computer, Wintotal says the were sent to D drive, which would be an external source and there was no external D drive connected to the computer when it happened.

Simply amazing. Sorry for your troubles brother. I had a similar unrecoverable issue at many years ago caused by doing a poor job of partitioning a new drive I installed. As soon as I filled the defective partition it expanded over into the rest of the non-partitioned area and ruined the file allocation table. The data contained on it was not recoverable. I lost about two weeks worth of work that way and have done a better job of automatic redundant backups ever since.
