AMC complaints and appropriate action

Class valuation and others have been doing that for a while now. Complaints are being filed but the large AMCs and Reeva have threatened and bribed most of the appraisal boards to the point where they won’t do anything.

It’s almost like they have no understanding that they are playing games with peoples livelihoods and their ability to house and feed their family. and those decisions come with consequences.
I'm confused. Would an allocation system based on the lowest bidder be illegal, or unethical? How would an AMC be able to justify an allocation system based upon competency, which would need to be based upon results of a rating system implemented by each AMC?

If appraisers and AMCs were held to the same standards, both would have had their licenses revoked in all 50 states by now.
Appraisers as a group collectively hate the AMC business model. Question: Was any industry in history ever more corrupt than the appraisal allocation system prior to 2007?
