AMC sample reports and USPAP

Ask a couple friends to let you value their house and use as samples. I've heard of AMCs and banks rejecting redacted copies. Personally, I've not submitted a sample in 20 years. Too big a PITA. But when starting out, usually have no option.
When I first applied for the Approved Panel where I now currently work, my redacted samples were rejected.

I educated them about the USPAP. That was the beginning of a full-time 17-year employment history.

A work sample is part of a client obligation that has an actual intended use, user and purpose.

I don't see where that can be bypassed using non-obligated appraisal done for no purpose.

Redact or get permission...not that hard to stay compliant.

Put in "ABC mortgage Lender" as client and do exactly as you would. It is not that difficult. All they are after is how you do an appraisal/appraisal report. You can redact or get permission but this is much easier and zero chance of missing something that will get you in trouble.
