I checked this thing out with AMCO (I know they're probably reading this post) and I gotta say, this whole thing makes me somewhat uncomfortable. I can't see anyone with a license or certification getting involved in this. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Estimate a value on line without ever seeing the subject?

They claim to have more than 1000 appraisers completing orders. Surely out of 1000, 1 of you reads this forum. Please tell me, what am I missing that would allow me to complete an eval on line with no inspection and be able to sleep at night?

I know this subject has probably been addressed before but I never have heard from an appraiser completing these orders. I've done real appraisal work for AMCO before but this seems to be a departure from what they've been known for in the past.

Same here. No thanks to AMCO avms. I have worked too hard to get where I am to risk my reputation and income for low pay/high risk avm work.
