The end game is trying to boost exports not trying to limit imports.

37% of metropolitan areas have an overvalued housing market as of March 2018, CoreLogic reported.

Another 28% of the top 100 metropolitan areas were undervalued while 35% were at value. When looking at only the top 50 markets, 50% were overvalued, 14% were undervalued and 36% were at-value.

“Lower-priced homes are appreciating much faster than higher-priced properties, making the affordability crisis progressively worse,” Martell said. “This is clearly an unsustainable condition that can only be remedied by aggressive and coordinated public/private sector actions.”

Corelogic’s data is at least 3 months old, so this is a what you get with automated valuations. They can’t keep up with rapidly changing markets and they require too many “comps” to be accurate.

If the appraisals over value properties the CU would kick them out and score them as risky. Perhaps, someone should be questioning the data and methodology Corelogic is using to make such claims.

Because my computer said so, is not acceptable.

Hmm ... wages have already been going up. However, there is 95.9 million people out of the workforce. So what's holding them back from rejoining the workforce?
