We've been using Pacenet now for several years and although it's pretty reliable, it's about $80/mo. There has to be a cheaper alternative available. We're located in the Toledo, OH area and our auditor site doesn't allow sales search like other auditors in the surrounding area. Any help would be appreciated.

I'd love to pay First American under $1000 per year instead of over $2500 per year which only covers about half of the area in which I work.

Bill, which counties do you cover? Obviously Lucas...any others?

Shouldn't help a competitor... but,

In our office, one of the data sources we use is Realquest. It is entirely web based and updated weekly, at least. It does not, in my opinion, have as good of search parameters as Pace does. You can't search multiple census tracts at one time, like you can in pace. The best you can do is search by zip code, mile radius or a single census tract.
I rarely use Realquest, however. Most of my comp searches are done through the local MLS system. It sucks that they took away Appraisers ability to view actives/pendings & contingents. :P . Hope this helps,

I think that you will find the Pacenet has been taken over by Realquest and you will see a change within a few months.
