Anyone able to check out a car at a Pascagoula dealership for me? No expertise needed just photos and a video of car and underside. I'll pay for your time.

TIA

My sister-in-law's son once bought a big truck on ebay, like 8-years ago, (he has a landscape biz), good deal, (he thought), but it starts misfiring in the first thousand miles. He takes it to a mechanic in CA.....turns out it was a 'south' truck that had been sunk during one of those hurricanes. I just bought a Austin-Healey though Bring a Trailer, and it had spent the last 30-years in Chico, CA, so I'm only worried about burn marks.

Seems like a nice deal. Definitely get it checked out. I will warn you to stay away from Lemon Squad. My recent experience with them was awful. Pretty much an AMC for third party inspectors.

Buy the extended warranty. I am decent shade tree mechanic. Roll the warranty into financing if you need financing. How many miles on this puppy?

You don't necessarily have to go through dealer to do your extended warranty.

My last two cars were rental cars and I bought extended warranty on both and included in financing. Both cars almost paid for. Little Toyota corolla 4 door and Jeep compass 4x4.

Jeep gets about 26 mpg. My car gets about 33 mpg.

They are both 4 cylinder.

the Jeep is sweet limited AWD. My little car was done in last snow/sleet storm. Heated steering wheel., seats etc.

Austin Healy = keep a set of tools in the trunk at all times.

I was 15 years old and replaced engine with help in 1973 Vega. It was sweet. Had back seat and white strip down middle. My dad sold it to somebody he worked with and the boy blew the engine up within a few months. My dad was sewing machine mechanic among other gifts. His dad was builder. His dad built many Churches and and houses. HIs name was Elmer.

My grandad on fathers side loved white owl cigars and died of lung cancer.

Track down a local car club in that area and ring them up. I’m sure a member would take a look for you, probably for no charge. Based on those listings it looks like lower/middle classic American car prices are getting soft.

BTW love the cherry bomb on the Hurst Olds. Haven’t seen one of those in decades.
