Anybody using one of those laser measuring thingies?

gotta love those goat roping Texicans.....using the Disto on longhorns.....I can see even more uses. Dubya can use one to see if his ranch has grown, Teff Hedeman can endorse them as a way to measure a Brahma before climbing on for a ride.....the possibilities are endless.

I think you have an ultrasonic tool sitting in your drawer. The Disto uses totally different technology.

I just received my new Disto in the mail today. Measured my house twice, so far I like it. I'll keep you posted, from the wheel, to the tape, to the laser...

I understand why you haven't you used your ultrasonic in years. I was only pointing out that the ultrasonic (digital tape) you have sitting in your drawer is nothing like the Disto. The ultrasonic uses sound waves to calculate distances while the Disto uses a single laser beam.

If you had a Disto, it wouldn't be in the drawer.
