Anybody using one of those laser measuring thingies?

gotta love those goat roping Texicans.....using the Disto on longhorns.....I can see even more uses. Dubya can use one to see if his ranch has grown, Teff Hedeman can endorse them as a way to measure a Brahma before climbing on for a ride.....the possibilities are endless. :-)

Now if only the Disto came in a selectible version with "Measure", "Stun" and "Hurt Really, Really Bad" for use on houses, certain reality state agents and L.O.'s!

Then Pam wouldn't need to pack that .38!

I knew you guys and girls were sitting back and reading this thread and giggling. Will somebody come help me, I tried to lasik my eyes with this thing and now I see dead people. Wait a minute, those are just loan officers. :D

I don't have any back hair now either, but I didn't before I got the Disto so I guess I should not give the laser credit for that should I.

My digital tape hasn't been out of the drawer once in the last 5 years! Ohhh, wait that isn't true...took it to "show and tell" at my last appraisal class.

Mike,

I think you have an ultrasonic tool sitting in your drawer. The Disto uses totally different technology.

You are quite right...slick, but it still hasnt been used in years!

I just received my new Disto in the mail today. Measured my house twice, so far I like it. I'll keep you posted, from the wheel, to the tape, to the laser...

Mike,

I understand why you haven't you used your ultrasonic in years. I was only pointing out that the ultrasonic (digital tape) you have sitting in your drawer is nothing like the Disto. The ultrasonic uses sound waves to calculate distances while the Disto uses a single laser beam.

If you had a Disto, it wouldn't be in the drawer.
