If yes....
Care to share....
Wrist or upper arm type....
And manufacturer....

Omron - wrist. Pretty basic, but it works well enough to track readings for my nosy Dr...

Wrist works fine. I've had arm bands and the variation between the two is minimal. Just hold it at heart level. That's why the arm band is placed where it is. I've had false readings in the doctors office from the nurse placing it too low and pinching my elbow. The doctor came in and looked at the reading and he took it over - said, "That's better." He knew something was wrong with 170/75 - Turned out to be 115 over 75.

Omron with a cuff, more accurate than wrist. Not as accurate as stethoscope version. But, my wife checks my bp with that once a week. Cheap investment for checking your health.

It is like an appraisal - the solution should be based on intended use. :)

I take my BP regularly, but I have no history of any BP issues. So, I am comfortable with the wrist cuff. Someone with a history of BP issues would probably want something more better.

My BP fluctuates, a lot. I have Omron cuff, pretty accurate.

I took it in to Dr office to compare vs. their machine; pretty accurate, within a couple of points, more than accurate enough for home use.

Do you have the model #....

I bought mine from Costco on sale, of course.
Brand is MicroLife and it's upper arm.
BP had been inconsistent earlier 6 months but now stable at normal levels. I test daily about same time.
When inconsistently high, I notice I would be under stress meeting appraisal deadlines. Now life is slower and nice. Planning vacations this month and end of year. Going to Hawaii again.:giggle:

Good topic. I need to buy one, I've wrestled with high BP for several years and am currently back to a tie, but the battle goes on.
