Anyone recently switch from Wintotal to Clickforms Comparison on functionality and convenience

Agreed, that's what I do when I run out of the amout of flood maps included with my plan. I do some areas near rivers that had extreme historic flooding in 2010. It's just pressing a button, why not put it in? On new construction, FEMA is not up to date, but our state GIS maps are. Sometimes my acreage adjustments are impacted by flood plains, so it's just another visual in your appraisal report.

if Clickforms had embedded spreadsheet... would consider it

I was a longtime Clickforms user from the 90s. Really liked it but switched away when they decided to charge us double for the UAD changes by adding on an additional tech fee for those already under the yearly maintenance contract which included updates. Went to Alamode Total because that seemed the most similar. I am paying $700 per year for Total. It seems very similar to Clickforms. I would not consider switching back because of the database I now have built up with Total. Not a fan of CoreLogic taking over Alamode, but not worth the hassle of considering switching.

Our MLS tax data for this region includes Flood Maps, so that is a non issue for the Maryland area for the most part, if needed on the rare occasion there is always the FEMA site.

First American, owner of ACI, has the same DNA as CoreLogic, so that is a non-issue for me.

I know I can export to a spreadsheet and depending on MLS can import that in either text or excel, but you should call and ask them about your specific embedded. I have the lower priced tier so I may not have everything, just what I need.

I used Wintotal for years. Clickforms is way better. My Clickforms was $648 (Gold) and includes Inspect Alot for sketches and photos on my iPad. Appraisalport, Buildfax permit history, unlimited maps, 125 flood maps, training, support and I paid $99 extra for MLS import. I don't use the Dropbox feature. Tried it, just not for me. I also purchase Swiftestimator Cost and Pictometry, and additional flood maps a few at a time when they are half price. I think you can convert the Wintotal files but I had moved to a different area and started from scratch. You can get Pictometry on some of the Assessor website. and Flood maps for free from FEMA anyway. I haven't had any problems, and used to have the "heart drop" as Fernando said with Wintotal all the time. It's just me, but I have it on my back up computer for no extra. I've only had to call for help when a computer died or when I had a different MLS to configure, they are very helpful at tech support.
What is MLS import? Is that when you save the MLS listing as an excel file and it populates?

Yes, it's a text file, you just directly import the information you chose into whichever comps you're using. I think there's a video demonstration on their website. I don't always use all of the data for example, I might have done the appraisal on the sale, so I'm putting my square footage in. They set it up through your MLS and walk you through it, but it's very user friendly.
