Bad timing. Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but get another job that pays the bills. This downturn in the real estate market is going the last well into next year.

All the advice above is just BS. For example, talk to real estate agents or go to NAR meetings. For pet's sake, they are in worse shape than appraisers.

you mean FHA work is dead, eh? :rof:

But last year you lived of VA has that changed..? Not trying to poke the Bear but the arrogance seems to have deflated. We need to realise that all boats float in rising tides. For a new licensee we need to realise that if we are slow we need to give them a better business model
Glenn, someone who got their CR 3 months ago cannot get on the VA panel. VA requires 5 years of experience and it took many of us much longer than that to get on the VA panel.

No historically VA loan volume was 2% to 3% of all loan volume. After 2015 it grew to it's highest which was over 9% and today it has dropped down in area that are not high volume of Vets to between 1% to 3% of loan volume. In some areas like DC or Virginia it's higher but Nation Wide it's dried up almost completely on refinnces. It appears we are back to historical numbers if 2% to 3% if loan volume. That's not bad just saying people who have lived off that need to pivot as it's not going to support most.

Tiffany not arguing just reporting loan volume facts.

What level of license? Are you on your own, or do you work for someone?
solidi pays low, so does class. But if you are not Certified you will have to take what you can get, also try Springhouse, & PCV Murcor, they take people who are not Certified
