Does anyone use a check list when doing an inspection of the subject property? If so, can you share it? Thanks

I have a 1004 check list I use in my inspections. I got it a long time ago over the Internet so the author is without attribution sadly.

It is PDF so it can be modified with the Adobe form software. I also have a grid I put on the back of it for my sketch. It becomes dual purpose.

I think it particularly useful for those learning. I also find it handy when I am interviewing owners doing new construction.

I run off copies on the copier. One of these days, I think I will take it to Kinkos and get it padded.

:D

Glad to send it along. Send request to my direct e-mail:

I will be at NAR in Washington DC next week so it may not come back to you instantly.

David,

I use the first page of the URAR, even if I'm doing a 2055 with interior. (Had clients change from 2055 to URAR after inspection which meant that I had to go back to collect all the information needed)

At first, I would use highlighter for the sections I needed to make sure I filled in.

Hope this helps.

David,

I have one that I use on every inspection and I used to have one that I used for the comps. If you want I can fax it to you and you could take a look at it. I don't have it on computer anymore because of my recent move still unpacking and I have no idea where that disk is.

Thank for the quick responses. Ryan, I would like you to fax your list if you can. My fax is 904-280-9497.

Welcome aboard David!

Who is your supervisor? I notice that your in the Jacksonville area but are not listed in DBPR as having a supervisor or an assigned registered assistant number yet. I also know they are not necessarily up to date on their website.

David,

Tried to fax to that line was a voice line is there a different fax line?
