Anybody hear of this company, Appraisal Connect Services?
They supposedly sign you up with multiple AMC's banks and Credit Unions, and also market your services for a fee, of course.
Scam or is it real?

Never heard of this one... but, it's not a new idea. There have been companies in the past that make the same offer. I've never found any of them to be worth the fee they charge.

Def a scam there is not enough work to go around as it is. You could do this totally free way to get work which is working so well so far it's nuts. Here is a list of AMCs that work in Florida from grok. My advice, if you get a single deal do it in a day and do the best job you can. They only care about fast so be the fastest.

I used this firm when I started my business last year. For about the price of one appraisal, they connected me with approximately 50 AMCs. My business took off. Then, last month, they disappeared, AFTER TAKING MY SECOND YEAR PAYMENT. I have all of the log-in information from the Google Sheets they set up, but I am very disappointed they bailed on me without giving me a heads up.

AMC's need appraisers becaeu they pay suck. But they do have orders. You can sign up with multiple AMC;s yourself, and at least know which ones you applied to. You can also apply to banks and credit unions yourself - many of them use AMC 's or if they use direct order they already have an appraiser panel, however all it takes is one to become a client.

Some of those companies might distrust a service that does it for the appraiser and simply delete the email or however they get in touch.
