I haven't been on the forum since last Friday, and I do not see any discussion on the fact that the Appraisal Institute was SUSPENDED from the Appraisal Foundation. This is huge news for US dues paying AI members. We no longer have any benefits of being Foundation members (cheap USPAP materials for one), and stand to loose the clout of the Foundation. First the Appraisal Institute (AIREA) ****es off the NAR and dissociates itself with the NAR, the single biggest mistake EVER, but now we may loose our Foundation clout and lobbying power as well.
I think this is a members only secret (at least that is what the AI president wanted in his email to me), but is is common knowledge. It seems to me that Mr. Sellers (AI president) has gotten a little too big for his britches from what I have read. Here is a news story that explains:

You can link to the "****ing match" letters between Sellers and the Foundation from within the article.
We are lucky we did not get expelled from the foundation, and it sounds like we still may???
