Appraisal With No Inspection By Appraiser?

That is simply not true in many states. In some states they are required to have a doctor sign off on everything or some things (those would be the states where the doctors have successfully kept protectionist measures in place to protect their own income). In 21 states & DC, nurse practitioners can set up their own practice independent of doctors:

If some states allow nurse practitioners to have their own practice and patients choose them for affordable ( and it cuts into income of some doctors) that is a very different scenario from appraisers..(let alone med insurance impact on billing/malpractice and the much higher earnings of physicians, )

When a appraiser takes photos it is usually to satisfy a report requirement. When a third party inspector takes photos then it is to assist the appraiser in identifying relevant features. So hopefully, the third party inspectors will have some specific training in how they can best do that.
And equal or shared liability for providing the information the appraiser signing the report is going to rely on when completing the report

.no supplier's of the "cheap stuff"- "cheap stuff" would have a difficult time existing.
That medical issue. Makes of older (cheap) generic drugs have stopped making them because they are not as profitable as more expensive "new" meds. So recently I had to get my combination pill split into 2 non-combo drugs due to the rising price of this old standby blood pressure med that has been around 50 years...so bifurcation is cheaper, I suppose
