I've notice that when I print to pdf some of my sentences run out past the edge of the form. This only happens with pdf. It looks fine on the screen and when I print a hard copy everything is fine as well. I've tried Adobe and Bullzit pdf (freeware). Both do the same thing. Any ideas?

Thanks

Bill

Bill I’ve had the same thing happen occasionally and it’s slightly annoying. Mine never omitted any copy from the report, but it made it unsightly. The only thing that seemed to fix it was to unsign the report and “tab” or “enter” through each area where the copy ran over and sign it, then print to PDF again.

Here is a solution that works for me.

After you select the pdf printer from the print menu, cancel out of the print menu and press "CTRL" and "R" together. It will ask you if you want to re-format for the selected printer and press yes.

Two points for caution: First, the software may push some of your comments into the Additional Comments section if during the re-format the text no longer fits in a section on the form. Second, I don't think it will work while the report is signed...so re-format first and then sign.

Bill, Update either your PDF Reader or PDF writer.

Thank you all for your help. Dean, Your fix did the trick nicely. I tried tabbing through the report but it wasn't working for me. Also, I'm using Adobe 8.1.2 so I don't think the problem is in the version. In fact, it seems every time I move up in Adobe, I have more problems with the simple things that I do.

Again, thank you all for your help

Bill
