Independant -- fee split with high volume shop covering Alameda, Contra Costa and Santa Clara Counties. Well established shop --20+ years in business. We have openings for 1-2 appraisers.
You must have 5 years at your current license level. AR is preferred. NO AT level please, we are not training at the moment. Demanding, fast paced environment. Appraisal assignments are managed by a chief appraiser, some training will be required to meet company standards. You will be counseled on reports not meeting our standards. All reports are reviewed for QA before client delivery and payment to appraiser. This is a good opportunity for those appraisers in the 5-10 year experience range that want to improve/hone their skills.
All assignments are paid work, no time is wasted--we do not perform comp checks, we do not forward assignments with estimates of value or loan amounts. We do pay trip charges for appointments missed by borrowers.
We want well documented values without any interference or influence from outside sources. ACI is preferred. Please have adequate data sources and list them in your resume. REO appraisal experience is a plus. Please provide 3 current samples from the above stated market area on 1004/1073/1025 forms. If you are stating REO experience, please provide a sample. Payments to appraisers every 2 weeks, direct deposit available, you will be required to sign non-compete-trade secret contract with our firm after a probationary period of 4-6 weeks.
