Could someone tell me what is ment by ADI Capable??
It is one of the service choices in the AppraiserUSA.com directory.

EDI? Nowadays, doesn't it just mean the ability to send reports electronically?

Vernon is correct. EDI stands for Electronic Data Interchange. It is an older term in use since the transisition period from paper appraisals to electronic. It meant appraisers who were capable of sending reports electronically. During that time some appraisers were capable and some were not.

Since we started AppraiserUSA.com in 1999 it was during the tail end of the transition period. Some appraisrs still used paper reports back then. So we used the field of EDI capable to distinguish to a potential customer who could and who could not send digitial reports.

I guess it's time to eliminate that field altogether now since everyone has been EDI only for years (I suppose, correct me if I am wrong)
