Covered in this AppraiserUSA.com update:

1. Get more FHA business!
2. Tips to Get More Business from your AppraiserUSA.com Listing!
3. HVCC? Market to non-lender clients!
4. Feeling lost? Go to the top of the list!
5. Easy Step by Step "How to" Edit your AppraiserUSA.com listing.

-----------------------------

1. GET MORE FHA BUSINESS!

FHA appraisal business is on the increase and you need to be sure that
you are getting your share. At AppraiserUSA.com we have implemented a
plan to help you do just that! We have launched a new search page just
for FHA qualified appraisers. It is at:

http://fhaappraisers.appraiserusa.com

From that page users can easily search for FHA appraisers by Zip Code or
by State and County. So make sure that if you are FHA qualified that you
check the FHA checkbox in your listing! There is nothing else you have
to do other than that to show up on the search results for the FHA page!

2. TIPS TO GET MORE BUSINESS FROM YOUR APPRAISERUSA.COM LISTING!

This section will help you maximize the number of contacts from your listing!

a. Make sure you have the counties you service listed and spelled correctly
in the "counties" field in your listing. If you have a county misspelled
it will not bring up your listing in a search for that county. Please note
that the statement "we cover the entire state" listed in the counties
field instead of county names will cause your listing to not come up in a
search because you didn't specify county names you serve.

b. Make sure you list the types of appraisals and properties you appraise
in the "appraisal specialty" field. If you appraise manufactured homes,
list it there. If you appraise golf courses, list it there. Someone searching
for a certain type of appraisal or a certain type of property will use
the advanced search. If you do not list your specialty, they will not find
you.

c. Make sure you put something in the "other information" field that will
"sell" your services. What puts you above the rest of the appraisers? Be
concise and of course truthful in what you list here. Do not promise something you can not deliver.

3. HOW WILL HVCC AFFECT YOUR BUSINESS?

The simple answer to that question is no one knows for sure. It may affect
your lender directed business especially if your clients are mortgage
brokers. Only time will tell the exact impact it will have.

Why not increase your non-lender or at least your non-mortgage broker
business? Many users of AppraiserUSA.com are not lenders. Make sure your
listing appeals to them and not just mortgage brokers. How can you do this?
Much the same way as the other tips to get more business in #2 above. Be
especially careful not to include any wording in your listing that will
exclude anyone such as attorneys, individuals or other non-mortgage broker
clients from using your listing. Make sure you have all the appraiser
"specialty types" listed and the "other information" section has some info
that also appeals to non lenders. "Fast and cheap" may be appealing to
some clients, but there are others that are more concerned about accurate
valuations and not so concerned about cost and speed. Just give it some
thought and edit your listing with the potential clients in mind that
you WANT to attract.

4. FEELING LOST? GO TO THE TOP OF THE HEAP!

Do you get discouraged when a search for your listing at AppraiserUSA.com
shows you are 48th out of 65 appraisers that serve your area? Why not
pay just a little bit and have your listing moved to the top? For as little
as $70 you can have a top 5 position for one county! That's less than
$6 per month (or 19 cents a day). Most appraisers don't do much advertising,
or if they do they spend it on the wrong thing. Try our Directory Positions
and see if they work for you. Our renewal rate is very high, so I know
our Directory Positions work for most appraisers, or they would not renew.
I get unsolicited testimonials from appraisers all the time, and I have
put some of them online (with their permission) for other appraisers to
read. See what other appraisers are saying:

5. HOW TO EDIT YOUR APPRAISERUSA.COM LISTING - EASY STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS

One of the great things about the AppraiserUSA.com directory is that you
may edit your listing 24/7! Your user name for your AppraiserUSA.com listing
is: (user name)

For security purposes your password is NOT included in these instructions.
If you need to edit your listing and have lost your password there is a
password retrieval system. Just enter your email in the box that says "lost
password" on the log in page. To edit your listing:

1. Go to http://AppraiserUSA.com

2. Click on "Edit Existing Listing" on the Appraiser Menu on the left
side of the page.

3. Then enter your email address, then your user name which is (user name) and then your password. Your user name and password are case sensitive and must be entered exactly as you created them, with no leading or trailing spaces, extra characters, etc.

4. Click the "Find My Listings" Button. Then your listing will turn up and
you can edit it. When finished click the "modify" button at the bottom and
your changes will be saved.
