Are they skipping repo drive-bys this cycle?

Another thing I've gathered from talking to agents who list a lot of REOs, they say not only are there fewer REOs that get listed for sale, on many properties they perform a BPO for the lender expecting the listing which used to be the norm, but what’s happening is the property is never listed but is sold at the county courthouse to the highest bidder. They don’t like it because their BPO fees are very low to begin with, they expected like in years past to make their money on the listing and sale. Two agents I know have stopped listing REOs for this reason.
