that "call the sherrif' response under similar irritating circumstances got my hubby about a half hour interview with the local mounted patrol, Natch he got a kid who simply wanted to hold him 'on suspicion' instead of listen and check his pocket license and call the State for verification...

I always talk nice to those that question me while doing my drive by shootings. Smile, tell them who I am and what I'm doing, give them my card. I've had some that wanted to call the cops and I've told them I'd be happy to do that for them on my cell phone. Then they decide to write down my license number and that usually get's them laughing. It's APRAIZR

I am laughing too: only problem is round here (where they took down the street signs so the Ruskies couldn't find their home address when (not if) the commies invade... :roll:

The word appraiser around here means "Those county folks who make you pay money for your castle...what you already PAID for once..."

I always introduce myself to accosters with "Did you get a loan on your house when you bought it? Did the bank order an appraisal? I am THAT kind of appraiser".

most of the accosters look like 8O :idea:

Not sure I want the flat tires that might result from parking at the local Wal-mart....
